Day 1 & 2 – Airport / Unawatuna, Sri Lanka
On arrival, your private driver will welcome you and take you to Unawatuna, a charming beach town on the south coast. Spend your first two days relaxing with your family, building sandcastles, and swimming in the calm waters. Be sure to visit the historic Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site dating back to the 16th century, and explore its cobbled streets, colonial architecture, and artisan shops.
Day 3 – Unawatuna / Yala, Sri Lanka
Your adventure continues as you travel to Yala National Park, stopping along the way at Dondra Lighthouse and the Hummanaya Blow Hole for scenic photos. Spend the afternoon on a relaxing safari or by the hotel pool.
Day 4 – Yala National Park, Sri Lanka
Today is all about wildlife. Yala is famous for having the highest leopard density in the world, though they can be elusive! Don’t worry-elephants, wild boars, deer, buffalos, peacocks, and a variety of birds, reptiles, and small mammals will keep everyone entertained. Your family will enjoy spotting and photographing these incredible creatures during a guided jeep safari.
Day 5 & 6 – Yala / Bentota, Sri Lanka
Drive to Bentota for the final leg of your holiday. Spend two days on the golden beaches, shaded by palm trees, perfect for relaxation or family playtime. Enjoy a Madu River boat safari, visit a turtle hatchery, and explore the local villages. Optional activities like snorkeling or kayaking are great for older children, while younger kids can enjoy the beach and hotel pools.
Day 7 – Bentota / Airport, Sri Lanka
Spend a final morning enjoying the beach before your private driver takes you to Colombo Airport for your return flight. Reflect on your adventure-filled week and the memories made with your family.
