Day 1
Arrival into Sri Lanka. You’ll start in Negombo, known as “Little Rome” for its strong Catholic influence, where colonial architecture, canals and lagoon life reflect the town’s history.
Day 2
Visit the Negombo Fish Market early in the morning, where fishermen bring in fresh catches including crabs, prawns and fish. Later, travel to Kandy, an important historical city.
Day 3
Explore the Spice Trail in the outskirts of Kandy, visiting a home garden and enjoying a home-cooked meal. Later, visit a temple to meet a Buddhist monk and learn about meditation and Buddhist practices.
Day 4
Visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, one of Sri Lanka’s most important religious sites, and continue exploring Kandy.
Day 5
Take a scenic train journey from Kandy to Ella, travelling through Sri Lanka’s hill country with views of tea plantations, mountains and valleys.
Day 6
Hike to Little Adam’s Peak, enjoying views across the surrounding landscapes and tea-covered hills.
Day 7
Travel to Tangalle and look for turtles in the wild along the coastline.
Day 8
Visit Kalametiya Bird Sanctuary, where you’ll spot birdlife and explore the coastal wetlands.
Day 9
A free day in Tangalle to relax by the beach or explore the surrounding area at your own pace.
Day 10
Departure from Sri Lanka.
