Welcome to Explora Sri Lanka. By accessing our website and utilizing our services, you agree to comply with the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making any bookings or inquiries.
1. Booking and Confirmation
- All bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed upon receipt of a written confirmation from Explora Sri Lanka.
- A deposit of 30% of the total tour cost is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the commencement of the tour.
- For bookings made within 30 days of the tour start date, full payment is required at the time of booking.
2. Payments
- Payments can be made via bank transfer or through our secure online payment gateway.
- All bank charges and fees associated with the payment are the responsibility of the client.
- Prices are quoted in United States Dollars (USD) unless otherwise specified.
3. Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancellations must be submitted in writing to Explora Sri Lanka.
- Cancellation fees apply as follows:
- More than 30 days before tour start date: 25% of the tour cost.
- 15–30 days before tour start date: 50% of the tour cost.
- Less than 15 days before tour start date: 100% of the tour cost.
- No refunds will be provided for unused services or portions of the tour once it has commenced.
4. Travel Insurance
- Clients are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, personal accidents, loss of baggage, and trip cancellations.
- Explora Sri Lanka is not liable for any costs or losses incurred due to inadequate insurance coverage.
5. Health and Safety
- Clients are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to undertake the tour.
- Any pre-existing medical conditions must be disclosed to Explora Sri Lanka at the time of booking.
- Explora Sri Lanka reserves the right to refuse participation to any client deemed unfit for the tour.
6. Travel Documents
- Clients must possess valid passports, visas, and any other required travel documents.
- Explora Sri Lanka is not responsible for any issues arising from incomplete or invalid travel documentation.
7. Changes and Cancellations by Explora Sri Lanka
- Explora Sri Lanka reserves the right to make changes to tour itineraries due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions, natural disasters, or political unrest.
- In the unlikely event of a tour cancellation by Explora Sri Lanka, clients will be offered an alternative tour or a full refund.
8. Liability
- Explora Sri Lanka acts as an agent for hotels, transport providers, and other service suppliers.
- We are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or delay caused by third-party service providers.
- Our liability is limited to the total amount paid by the client for the tour.
9. Force Majeure
- Explora Sri Lanka is not liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, pandemics, or government restrictions.
10. Governing Law
- These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.
- Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
